Etisalat UAE IMAP, POP3 and SMTP Email Settings ( 2020 Updated )

Etisalat UAE IMAP, POP3 and SMTP Email Settings

Today I faced a challenge with finding the Etisalat UAE email settings. After hours of trial and error, I managed to validate the following settings.

If you have a different setting that works fine please share it in the comments section for the fellow readers.

The following settings can be used to set up your Etisalat email account on Outlook, Thunderbird, Android Mail, Apple Mail, or any other email client that supports IMAP or POP3 and SMTP.

Therefore, don’t forget to enable this in your client unless you want to keep the server inbox clean.

In windows, you can do this by enabling “Leave a copy of message on the server” under Advanced section of the E-mail settings page

    1. you need to transfer the name to someone else, IE. you must cancel the account and then make the current user(your friend) change their username from etisalat, just confirm that this could happen before you start the process.

    1. Same with me. Chasing Etisalat to open smtp port 465 to enable outgoing email. But no luck so far..
Only way to switch the account if Etisalat ignore my request

  3. I have been having serious trouble with MS Outlook 365. Outgoing mails just do not go. Keep sitting in the outbox. Incoming mails dont give much trouble.. a bit of delay. My webhost is Etisalat. Can anyone give me some tips or wisdom on this?

    1. Please make sure you are using the correct SMTP settings. If you have a slower internet it could also be caused by server timeout. Try to increase the server timeout and see if it helps as described in my article.
